Book Review: Revelation – The Spirit Speaks to the Churches (Hamilton, Jr.)

Compiled by James Hamilton Jr., His contribution to the “Preaching the Word” book series lies in the book of Revelation. This series has been a great encouragement to me in the past as I have wished to further study and dive into various themes and commentary on particular books of the Bible. Hamilton uses scripture and context to iron out many confusing aspects of the Book of Revelation, and, as he states, it can never be exhausted. My joy in Christ and in the sovereignty of God has absolutely been impacted by this book and the depths of Truth available to us in the book of Revelation is staggering.

Tackling one of the most intimidating books of the Bible — filled with apocalyptic imagery and end-times discussions, Hamilton remains faithful to the text, and faithful to the scriptures.

This book has been of great help to me, and the breakdown of chapters and scripture chunks will provide an excellent resource for me in future ministry. I pray this book will be an amazing blessing to you, as well.

A complimentary copy of this book was provided for review purposes by CrossWay Publishing. I was not required to post a positive review and the views expressed in this review are my own.
